Today is the last chance for the community to watch local artists demonstrate their craft at the Cultural Heritage & Arts Pacifica Exhibit at the Lobby Function Room of Hyatt Regency Saipan in Garapan.

Arts coordinator Parker Yobei said some of the 23 participating artists have held art demonstrations at the exhibit every Saturday. They include Melchy Billy and Lucy Sablan who demonstrated bead making, Mariana Ebelani who did a lava-lava presentation, and Ernie David who showed his art of leaf painting.

Yobei, who mans the art exhibit that’s open from 10am to 7pm from Monday to Saturday, noted that most of their visitors are tourists.

“We’re inviting the public, especially high school art class students, to come in and take a look at the works of our artists before the exhibit closes,” Yobei said.

The exhibit will be open to the public until Sept. 30.
