Burglary and theft incident

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred on a car parked at the beach across the street from Century Travel, Beach Road, Garapan. On Friday, Aug. 30, at about 2pm, the victim, a Korean tourist, 31, was with another Korean male, 38. They parked a 2004 silver Nissan Titan truck by the bunker located across the street from Century Travel and went diving. About an hour later they returned to discover the victim’s personal items missing from inside the car.

The stolen items include a Sky cellular phone valued at $900, a black Casio watch valued at $160, and about $100 in cash. There were no signs of forced entry. It is possible that the suspect (s) used a key, which was hidden in the car’s gas tank. DPS and Crime Stoppers are seeking help from the public.
