Poker arcade robbery

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a robbery incident that occurred at the Capitol Hill Poker in Sadog Tasi.

On Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at about 9:13am, police responded to a reported robbery. Upon arrival they met with the victim, a Chinese male who had his hands tied behind his back. It was learned that the victim was the cashier (poker attendant). The victim noticed the suspect enter the poker establishment a few minutes earlier.

The suspect is described as a local male, 6 feet tall, skinny, and clean shaven. The suspect was playing on one of the poker machines. The suspect called for the cashier’s assistance to check on a poker machine that was malfunctioning.

The cashier was checking the machine when suddenly the suspect grabbed the cashier’s neck from behind with one arm, and held a knife to the victim’s chest with the other hand. The suspect forced the victim into the cashier booth at knifepoint. The victim was told to lay face down where the suspect tied the victim’s arms behind his back. The suspect escaped with an undetermined amount of money. The victim somehow was able to contact the police and report the incident.
