Promotional tactic

I read an article in one of your papers, Aug. 19 2011, about the sales of the Playstation 3 being lower than the Xbox 360. There was nothing wrong with the article, but the writer seem to be promoting the Xbox 360 by saying that sales for the Xbox 360 were higher then that of the PS3. He failed to mention the fact that the Xbox 360 was released a year before the Playstation 3, which may be the reason for Xbox 360 sales figures being higher. I’d also liked to point out that Microsoft released their Xbox 360 with a major defect which they spent a billion dollars to replace the defect. I believe that this was a marketing plan or maybe scam to get a lead on PS3’s sales figures. I think you’ll agree that when a product sells more then another we believe that product to be the more affordable and superior.
