The CNMI Softball Association is planning on opening its 2011 Men’s Island-Wide Fast-Pitch Softball League on Oct. 31, 2011.

Eight teams are projected to make up the league and rosters are limited to a maximum of 16 players per squad.

Unless otherwise informed, the deadline to submit entrance fees and team rosters is no later than Monday, Oct. 17. The entrance fee will be determined based on the number of participating teams and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

As the association is an active member of the International Softball Federation, this will be a competitive league played under ISF’s Official Rules Of Softball.

A 5:30pm initial meeting for interested parties will be held at the Oleai Sports Complex pavilion adjacent to the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium on Sept. 6.
