The 20th Annual Saipan Rotary Club Youth Basketball League’s U15 division is holding its season opener tomorrow, Aug. 27, with a tripleheader from 11am to 3:30pm at the TSL Sports Complex in Gualo Rai.

Seven teams make up the league and this year marks the first time the U15 girls national team will be competing with the boys. Four Rollers Basketball Club squads along with the Black Widows and Proa U15 make up the rest of the field.

The U15 girls are featured in the early tip against RBC’s Angels at 11am. Then at 12:30pm the Black Widows square off against RBC’s 670 Rollers, while RBC’s Micronesian Breakers take on Proa U15 at pm.

Games will be played under eight-minute quarters with running time. Time stops only for personal fouls and during the final two minutes of the fourth quarter.
