A total of 17 matches are listed on Trench Tech Purebred Promotions’ Rites Of Passage 11: Onra scheduled for Sept. 9 at Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall.

The triple main event features Trench Tech’s Fasi “Quickdraw” Jesse (7-3) taking on USA’s Jonathan Gary (4-1) of the Reversal Gym’s Yokohama Ground Slam team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in a 155-lb catch-weight bout.

Jesse is going for his third win in a row since March of this year, while Gary is coming off a second round TKO victory in Japan’s Gladiator 13 held in Tokyo this past January.

In addition, American Mixed Martial Artist, Will “The Kill” Chope (2-4), from Orange Park, Florida’s Dragon Muay Thai revisits Saipan to take on fellow lightweight Maitai “The Charger” Charley (3-7) of Marianas Elite.

Chope fought here this past March in ROP 10: Bad Intentions and lost his main event bout to Jesse via a third round head-and-arm triangle choke submission. He was initially paired against Trench Tech veteran Giovanni “Palaxi” Sablan (15-8), but his manager opted for Charley.

Charley’s teammate Myron “The Natural” San Nicolas (5-2), meanwhile, will be pitted against Trench Tech’s Mylo “AlabaMMA” Lassiter (2-0) in a super-heavyweight brawl.

As for Charley, he is also trying to bounce back from his loss against Trench Tech’s “Badd” Brad Palacios this past June in Trench Warz 14: Ground Zero. The two battled it out for three exhausting rounds before Palacios won via split-decision.

The 245-lb San Nicolas has experience and 10 lbs over the undefeated young up-and-comer, but has not fought since November 2009.

Prior to the main events, a highly anticipated title fight between Trench Tech’s Shane “Pikaboo” Alvarez and Maraians Elite’s Derrick “El-Peligro” Rangamar takes over the cage.

Rangamar holds a 3-9 win-loss card, and although Alvarez is unbeaten in six fights. Rangamar is perhaps his first real opponent as all of Alvarez’s previous challengers hold a combined record of just 4-13.

Last year, Rangamar went undefeated in two bouts and won an exhibition match over Palacios back in December. The pair clashed in April’s Art Of War 6 Grappling and Submission challenge, with Alvarez having his hand raised via a sudden death takedown.
