Korean Futsal Team pulled off an 8-6 come-from-behind win over Wild Bill in an intense men’s division game in the 2011 Saipan Soccer School Futsal League Monday night at the TSL Sports Complex.

Coming into the match, Korean Futsal and Wild Bill’s shared identical 3-0 marks and the opposing teams played a bit physical in their bids to keep their records clean. Wild Bill’s had the upper hand in the first half, 5-3, behind the hat-trick of Jeeraphong Thoensaket and two goals of Jiayuan Gueo.

Gil Chong Koo drilled all the three goals of Korean Futsal in the first half and Wild Bill’s defense failed to neutralize him in the second half. Koo added three more goals in the second half, including an impressive shot from the left side. The perfect play started from the center and Koo received the pass and did not even bother to put the leather down the floor, as he kicked it and hit his target. Koo’s notable goal gave Korean Futsal a 7-6 lead and with less than two minutes left on the clock, Sang Ho Choi made it to the scoreboard to seal the win.

Wild Bill’s lone goal in the second half was courtesy of Thoensaket.
