An argument during a drinking session at a house in Chalan Kanoa District 3 triggered a rock throwing incident between two friends Thursday afternoon.

Darren Michael, 18, and Tolove Bokuku, 21, reportedly threw rocks at each until police were called to the scene. Neither of them was injured, police said.

Michael was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, and minor consuming liquor. He was released yesterday on a $5,500 unsecured bond.

The Office of Public Defender was appointed to represent Michael. He will be arraigned on Aug. 15 at 9am.

Detective Jonathan SN. Decena stated in his report that a police officer had responded to a residence in Chalan Kanoa on Thursday at 4:58pm after receiving a call about a disturbance.

Preliminary investigation showed that Michael and Bokuku got into a fight as they were drinking alcohol. A witness informed police that Michael and Bokuku had a misunderstanding.

Detective Decena said that, while the responding police officer was talking with the witness, Michael started yelling and cursing at the officer. The officer handcuffed Michael.
