For the second year, Bank of Hawaii will offer $25,000 in cash to the lucky person who can get a hole-in-one on Hole 4 on the East Course of Lao Lao Bay Golf & Resort during this upcoming weekend’s Tournament of Champions, TOC.

“Bank of Hawaii and TOC have had a long relationship and we continue to support their mission,” said BOH senior vice president John Sheather. “We are able to see their important work since the Port to Park Pathway is right across the street from our branch in Puerto Rico.”

Over the last 15 years, TOC has given over $500,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund, which has most recently been used to improve the tree-lined traffic medians in Chalan Piao, Dandan and Susupe. Funds were also used for the revitalization of the Garapan special district. In addition, TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de Marianas. It was announced that proceeds from this year’s TOC will assist in the repair of the Mt. Topochau stairways, railings, and the leveling of the area.

Ben Babauta, TOC tournament director, said, “The possibility to win $25,000 really gets people’s attention and it was fun to be able to hold all that money in my hands. The TOC Committee would like to thank Bank of Hawaii for their continued partnership.”

The 16th Annual Tournament of Champions will be played on Aug. 6 – 7 at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort East and West Course. The cost of the two-day tournament is $175 and includes the banquet on Sunday immediately following the tournament.
