Nike Golf Demo days return for TOC

Returning TOC sponsor, Nike Golf, will be at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort Driving Range on Thursday, Aug. 4, and Friday, Aug. 5, from 2pm to 6pm. John Botelho from Nike Golf in Hawaii will be on Saipan especially for TOC and will personally work with golfers during the two-day demo event.
Participants can sample from a broad assortment of Nike clubs at The Range, while experts equipped with a launch monitor and computer will be in place to help golfers with their personal driver fittings while playing their practice rounds.
“Last year’s Nike Golf Demo Event was such a success that we knew we had to come back this year,” Botelho said. “This is an opportunity to test out the latest Nike technology to improve your game.”
For the raffle at the awards banquet, Nike Golf is also donating four TOC customized Nike M9 Cart Bags with the Tournament of Champions logo valued at $275.00 each. Four Nike Departure Duffel Bags with the Tournament of Champions logo and two Nike SQ Machspeed Black drivers valued at $360.00 each. The SQ driver generates less drag, more speed and greater distance. And with the STR8-FIT adjustable technology, the club face angle can be customized to deliver power on the fairway.
When asked about the partnership, TOC Tournament director Ben Babauta said “Nike Golf’s return this year solidifies our partnership and the demo event allows our players an opportunity to work with a trained Nike professional.”
The LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort has also offering a special room rate package for Guam residents. The rate is $100 plus 10 percent tax per night and includes a continental breakfast.
