Wing Beach theft

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a theft incident that occurred at Wing Beach in Marpi.

On Wednesday afternoon, July 20, 2011, at about 4:30pm, a male Caucasian tourist, 51, and his wife parked their rental scooter at Wing Beach. He placed his red bag containing his personal items under the scooter seat. The couple went to the beach and returned an hour later.

They discovered the red bag missing. The items in the bag included a Red polo bag containing a Canon Inix 10 camera, Xiginli eye class case, house keys, Chinese and New Zealand driver’s licenses, two books, and some credit cards. The total value of the stolen items is over $500.
