The U.S. Army Reserve is hosting this week an Enrichment Camp, a one week day camp for Army Reserve youth ages 4-12. The camp is for dependents and extended families of Army Reserve soldiers.

The camp is being held at Camp Marianas, Saipan July 25-29. It’s an excellent opportunity for children to have fun and make new friends while learning important life skills. The camp includes swimming lessons, go karts, kayaking, snorkeling, volleyball, mountain biking, movie making, horseback riding, ocean safety, golf, field trips, arts and crafts, and more.

On Wednesday, July 27, camp participants will have “Military Day” from 1pm to 3pm. This is a special day in the week as it gives children the chance to reflect on the purpose of participating in the Army Reserve Enrichment Camp. Youth will have the chance to work with soldiers and do a variety of fun activities including, face painting, obstacles courses, MRE tasting, kid friendly boot camp and learn Army songs, among others.
