The Saipan Cyclers Association will be holding the MTB & Road Race II on July 31 at Paupau Beach.

The race is open to three divisions: MTB full and short course, and road bike course. Registration starts at 6am and the race begins at 7am. Entrance fee is only $10.

Bikers competing in the MTB full course will start at Paupau and then head to Banzai trail, Cowtown, Santa Clause lane (Grotto trail), and Autobahn and Kimikaze trails, turn left, go down to the road heading to Suicide cliff, turn left again on the jeep road behind the golf course, turn right on the trail that leads to the road to the golf course (before the million gallon tank), turn another left at the bottom of the hill, and head back to Paupau.

For the MTB short course, after the Santa Clause lane, riders will turn right on the pave road and then back to Paupau.

For the road bike category, the race will also start at Paupau and riders will go up to Radar Station, Suicide Cliff, Bird Island, Grotto, and Banzai Cliff before going back to the starting line. (PR)
