The Tan Siu Lin Foundation and the USO held a successful Movie in the Park last July 8 at the American Memorial Park Amphitheater—a first ever on Saipan.

Lt. Gov Eloy Inos and his grandchildren, Tan Holdings president Jerry Tan, USO director Leigh Graham, and USO Center operations manager Vic Tano were on hand to make some short remarks to the crowd.

Around 500 people attended the event and watched animated film Despicable Me. The USO also gave out more than 400 children’s DVDs for free. The Kagman High School Junior ROTC team presented the colors and performed their ceremonial drill.

Much of the night was spent listening to the laughter of children and adults alike as the cool winds enveloped the spectators.

The USO and the TSL Foundation hope to launch the event again in the near future and we would like to thank everybody that showed up as well. (PR)
