Mount Carmel rectory robbery

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred at the Mount Carmel Rectory, Chalan Kanoa.

On Friday, July 1, 2011, around 10am, a burglary and theft complaint was filed with the police. It was learned that an Olympus camera was stolen from the second floor of the church diocese. It was located in one of the offices on the second floor.

The point of entry was possibly through an office door on the second floor. The door jamb was damaged, allowing the suspect(s) to gain entry. No other items were reported missing or stolen. The estimated value of the stolen camera is over $200.
