A man armed with a screwdriver went inside a house in Koblerville early Saturday morning and attacked a family of three and shattered a car’s windshield.

One of the victims, Sabrina Satur, sustained head trauma and was brought to the Commonwealth Health Center for treatment, police said.

Danny D. Disa, 24, was arrested later that day on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, burglary, criminal mischief, and disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $1,000 cash and $9,000 unsecured bond.

Preliminary hearing will be on July 12 at 1:30pm.

A police investigation showed that Disa had entered the house and punched Mohammed Muslim in the back of the head and right shoulder. The suspect also allegedly punched Satur five times in the head and kicked her in the back. When Satur’s daughter tried to help her, Disa allegedly slapped her in the face.

Disa then walked out of the house and punched the driver’s side windshield of a Toyota Tercel, causing the windshield to shatter.

Disa then allegedly attacked Muslim with a screwdriver. The victim managed to seize the screwdriver and throw it away. The suspect also grabbed Muslim’s cell phone and threw it away.

Police officers who responded to the victims’ house saw bloodstains on the floor and on the front door. The officers recovered an eight-inch long screwdriver with bloodstains on it from the right side of the house.

A police officer then radioed that a man with bloodstains in his hands was seen near the Han Nam Market in Koblerville. Police brought Muslim to the site where he identified the man as the suspect (Disa).

The report did not indicate the motive behind the attack.
