As part of its systemwide upgrade, IT&E engineers will conduct a two-phase project that will relocate the company’s servers to a new state-of-the-art facility at its Susupe headquarters.

Phase One of the move will take place on Thursday, June 30, from 1am to 5am. Phase Two will take place on Friday, July 1, from 1am to 5am.

During these times, IT&E customers will not be able to access Web services or download any e-mails that are hosted on IT&E servers.

No emails will be lost during either phase of the project as all data will be queued in IT&E’s backup SMTP gateways.

Customers using an e-mail client (Yahoo!, Gmail, MSN, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) should still be able to send and receive messages as usual. Internet browsing will not be affected.

“We apologize in advance for any inconvenience experienced during this activity. IT&E appreciates your patience and understanding while we continue to serve the Marianas,” said the company in a statement yesterday. (IT&E)
