A man allegedly beat up his wife during an argument Saturday morning at their house in Koblerville.

Benancio Ngiraois Aguon, 36, was arrested for assault and battery, and disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $1,250 cash. He was set to make an initial court appearance yesterday afternoon.

Detective Catherine B. Pangelinan stated in her report that a patrol officer responded to Koblerville on Saturday at 6:57am after receiving about a disturbance call.

Pangelinan said their investigation showed that Aguon had tried to leave as he wanted to go get a tattoo but his wife refused to give him the car keys.

Aguon got mad and allegedly slapped her twice, causing her to fall to the floor.
