Bayani to mark 20th anniversary with fundraiser
The Bayani Association will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fundraising pageant called “Queen of Drag 2022” on Feb. 5, 2022, Saturday, at the Royal Taga Hall of the Saipan World Resort.
Doors will opens at 5pm and the show will start at 6:30pm sharp. VIP tickets are being sold for $50 and general admission tickets will cost $25.
Proceed from the event will be used for the organization’s community projects and a percentage of the profits to be donated for the Typhoon Rai/Odette typhoon victims in the Philippines.
Organizers of the event promise that it will be “a fun-filled entertaining show.”
With the CNMI still in a pandemic situation, all COVID-19 protocols will be adhered to and vaccination cards must be presented at the door entrance.
The show’s talented participants are Sunshine, Christian, Joan, Cecille, Shine, Rica, Nestea, Noelle, Kristala, Aileene, and Patrick. They will be competing in the following categories: Fantasy Costumes, Lingerie Wear, Lipsync Talent, and Evening Gown. The top 5 winners will be receiving cash prizes, sash, bouquets, crowns, and gifts and all non-winners will have consolation prizes. Ernie Molina will conceptualize, direct, and choreograph the show.
