BASA announces new sponsorship with Budweiser

Heading into their 2022 season, Belau Amateur Softball Association has secured title sponsorship rights through Budweiser.
The newly monikered “Budweiser BASA Softball League” kicked off the season last July 10.
This year, the Budweiser BASA Softball League consists of 16 teams of six open female teams and 10 men’s master’s teams. Games are played every Sunday at the Dandan Softball Field.
BASA president Leo Bobai welcomes this new partnership, “The league is financially heavy on our small non-profit organization, but thanks to Budweiser’s eagerness to promote sports in the community, we can continue to work together to ensure this season runs smoothly, safely and fun for everyone. I have a great team of officers, board members and community members and we are very grateful and humbled for this sponsorship. Thank you, Budweiser, si yu’us maase and kom kmla mesulang.
Guy Pudney, pesident Manager for Marpac added, “We are happy to partner up with an organization like BASA, who has been running this league continuously for over 30 years. As you can see, they are a very dedicated team of volunteers who put the health and wellbeing of the community at the forefront. It’s great to see all the friends and families coming out every Sunday to the Dandan Field to support their loved ones. Now, let’s play ball!”
BASA was chartered in 2006. It believes in promoting health and wellness through sports, as well as providing support for various community non-profit organizations with manpower or monetary donations.
