BankPacific announced yesterday the promotions of Janice McPhetres and Rizalina de Ramos.

McPhetres was promoted to vice president and chief financial officer. A graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Guam, she has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at Seattle University in Washington state.

After working with First Sound Bank in Seattle, McPhetres returned to Guam and joined BankPacific in 2013 as controller.

De Ramos was promoted to assistant vice president, controller. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of the East in Manila. She joined the BankPacific in 2001. The majority of her knowledge and work experience has been in the accounting field in the banking industry.

Philip J. Flores, president and chairman of the board of BankPacific, announced the promotions at the most recent meeting of the members of the bank’s board of directors.

“These are two very talented [women] and their promotions are well earned,” said Flores. (PR)
