Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance again welcomes Bank of Guam as a title sponsor of the annual Green Gala.

Tania P. David, the bank’s assistant vice president/operations manager, said that Bank of Guam “needs to support those that support our environment which is an endless drive. We must continue to give and keep giving so that our planet, our island, our community will continue the fight to protect the land, ocean, and air that we borrow from our children. We all have an obligation to do our part in taking care of the earth—we were only given one.”

Proceeds of the event go toward operational funds for the continuation of MINA’s programs.

MINA will also be presenting this year’s Green Awards, which include the Green Business of the Year, Environmental Heroes, and Environmental Champion.

Call MINA at 233-7333 (REEF) for tickets or for more information. (PR)
