Bank of Guam report wins int’l award

HAGATNA, Guam—Bank of Guam has been recognized for yet another international award, this time for its 2017 Year in Review report, which highlighted its 45 years of service to the region.

MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by communications, marketing and advertising professionals, and has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. Administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards in excellence.

Bank of Guam has won the following awards in the last two years: American Bankers Association Video Contest (2016) and Mercomm Annual Report Competition (Bronze – 2017). The Bank of Guam is also a four-time local PIKA’s Best Bank.

Joaquin Cook, interim president and chief executive officer, said, “Our communications team…continually demonstrate that local talent can successfully produce prize-winning pieces and compete with the best internationally.” (PR)
