HAGATNA, Guam—The Bank of Guam is now accepting entries for its 9th Annual Christmas Card Contest, which is open to all elementary and middle school students throughout Guam, the CNMI, Republic of Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

“A very green Christmas” is this year’s theme, which challenges students to use their imagination to make a unique Christmas card from recycled materials such as old magazines or newspapers. The winner will be featured on the cover of the 2015 Bank of Guam’s Christmas card, which is annually sent to businesses and individuals. The medium is a 4”x 6” card entry using watercolors, pastel crayons, colored pencils, acrylic paints, old magazines and newspapers and glue.

First place will win $250; second place is $175; and third place, $100. Gift baskets of school supplies will also be included with the cash prizes.

Contest rules and applications are available at all elementary and middle schools, at any Bank of Guam branches and its website, www.bankofguam.com. (Bank of Guam)
