Bank of Guam donated last March 13 a check worth $3,000 in support of the 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer next month.

MMAC is the largest signature fundraising event of the Commonwealth Cancer Association, a volunteer-led non-profit organization that ensures all funds raised are spent on cancer patient support services, cancer awareness programs and other cancer-related activities in the CNMI.
This year marks the 10th year of the MMAC which is slated for April 27 to 28 from 6pm to 6am at the Hopwood Jr. High School field in Chalan Piao.
Bank of Guam vice president and CNMI regional manager Marcie Tomokane and bank officer Dave Guerrero presented the check donation to MMAC representatives Catherine Attao-Toves, Rachel Roque, Reina Camacho, Christopher Concepcion, and CCA board member Maggie Camacho.
Tuesday’s check presentation coincided with the 40th anniversary of Bank of Guam, which was founded on March 13, 1972.
“On behalf of the 2012 MMAC committee, we extend our utmost appreciation to the Bank of Guam for their $3,000 donation,” said Attao-Toves, 2012 overall committee chair. “We value their support in the battle against cancer.”
