Bank of Guam donates $2,500 to NMC Foundation for golf tilt

Bank of Guam recently presented a $2,500 donation to the Northern Marianas College Foundation.

The donation is part of the company’s sponsorship of the Foundation’s 12th Annual Foundation Open Golf Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015.

“We are proud to help the Northern Marianas College further its mission of helping CNMI residents improve their quality of life through educational advancement and professional development,” said Marcie Tomokane, vice president/CNMI regional manager of Bank of Guam.

The 12th Annual Foundation Open Golf Tournament will held at the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort (West Course) on Saturday, April 18, 2015, with a show time of 6am and a shotgun start at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.

“We are extremely grateful for Bank of Guam’s donation and continued support of the college and the NMC Foundation,” said NMC Foundation president Joe Santos.

The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support the Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone postsecondary educational institution. The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.

“Bank of Guam’s contribution and steadfast support reflects the company’s commitment to providing higher education opportunities for CNMI students,” said NMC president Dr. Sharon Hart. “We are thankful for the company’s contribution.”

The entrance fee is $95 per player. Payments for the entrance fee can be made at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort or at the NMC Cashier’s Office.
