Hak Chon Bae qualified for Fil-Taga Golfers Association’s season-ending Fil-Taga Ace of Aces Tournament after topping the December Ace of the Month held last Dec. 17 at the Kingfisher Golf Links in Talafofo.

Bae shot a net score of 70 in a tie with January Ace winner Mike Cruz. He actually fired a gross score of 86, which minus his 16 handicap, gave him the score to beat in the last tourney of Fil-Taga for the year.

Cruz, meanwhile, was the first qualifier for the 2023  Fil-Taga Ace of Aces Tournament after capturing the January Ace also last Dec. 17.

“I dedicate this win to the past, current, and future members of Fil-Taga Golfers Association. Truly they are the strength of the organization,” he said.

Cruz said the conditions last Dec. 17 were acceptable. “The weather is fine with intermittent drizzle. To my fellow senior golfers, hey guys keep on golfing as it’s good exercise for the body and the mind.”
