The Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco Control Division is reminding all licensed business establishments that applications for Alcoholic Beverage Control license renewals are now being accepted.

Application forms may be obtained from the Department of Commerce at the Donni Hill Complex, Capitol Hill Road, Pohnpei Street, or from the Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco Control Division anytime between 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday except weekends and legal holidays.

Licensed businesses on Rota and Tinian may pick up application forms from the resident department head at the Commerce Department on Rota and Tinian.

Application forms may also be downloaded at www.commerce.gov.mp.

The deadline for filing of renewal applications, including payment of fees, is on June 30, 2009.

All licensees whose renewal fees remain unpaid as of June 30, 2009 will be automatically suspended. Licenses that remain suspended as of July 31, 2009, due to unpaid renewal fees will be automatically revoked and the Commerce secretary shall not issue a renewal license. If a license still remains revoked as of July 31, 2009, a new application must be submitted.
