Weaseling out

I absolutely, fully (how much more forcefully can I put it?) agree with the statement “Juan T. Guerrero separately said the parties in the ongoing court proceedings are way past the negotiation stage.” They diddled around and stalled and stalled until now, when the rubber is finally going to meet the road they want to weasel out, a tactic they are masters of, except this time it is not going to work. Tough, boys! I could easily find the money to pay the Fund by simply trimming the bloat from the government, something the administration does not have the guts to do. Go get ‘em, Ken!
