Round Two battle of champions this Thursday

The past 15 champions of Round Two Bar and Grill’s Thursday 8-Ball Tournament will square off this Thursday in a competition dubbed as the Ronelsie Cup.

Named after tournament sponsors Ronnie and Elsie Ringor, the special tournament will be made up of past champions of the Garapan sports bar and watering hole’s weekly competition.

It will adopt a race-to-three and race-to-five and single elimination format with an entry fee of $20. It starts promptly at 8:30pm.

The weekly champion that will vie for the Ronelsie Cup are Chester Hamoy, Eric Santos, Jerry Soriano, Senen Pangilinan, Nolan Cultura, Eric Caisip, Primo Ferrera, Boyet Sequioco, Rolly Villanueva, Juancho Mendoza, Patrick Taitano, Taylor Watanabe, Jomer Enriquez, Roger Espiritu, and Victor Hocog.

The winner of the unofficial battle of pool champions will receive a trophy and a cash prize. The runner-up will also take home money and a medal.

Round Two Bar and Grill’s regular Thursday 8-Ball Tournament is held every Thursday with a $10 entry fee. Games start at 9pm. For more information about the competitions, contact Ricky Vertudez at 234-6930.
