Staff of Korea’s Singles magazine are currently on Saipan this week for a feature in its Summer Special Travel Guide supplement next month.

The media FAM tour will be on island from May 9 to 12 to gather photos and travel information on the Northern Marianas related to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, water sports, hotels, and resorts.

“Singles magazine will be covering various attractions to give their 60,000 readers a first-hand look at what makes Saipan and the Northern Marianas a great place to visit,” said Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Perry Tenorio.

While on island, Singles will visit Hyatt Regency Saipan, Marians Resort & Spa, Aqua Resort Club, and Fiesta Resort and Spa. The nightlife spotlight will feature Taste of the Marianas, the Fiesta Resort & Spa cultural dinner show, several bars in Garapan and Club V. They will enjoy firsthand experience with parasailing and snorkeling at Managaha Island, a tour of historic and scenic sites, plus meals at various restaurants. Shopping at DFS Galleria, La Moda Isla, and small boutique shops in Garapan will also be featured.

Singles is a monthly fashion magazine targeting single men and women ages 25-34. The publication includes articles on health, careers, financial investment, fashion and beauty. The Summer Special Travel Guide will be a separate-volume supplement of the June issue featuring destination travel information. The NMI is slated to receive 10 pages of coverage out of 50 pages total at an estimate ad exposure value of $45,000.

The FAM tour is being supported by Tasi Tours, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Fiesta Resort and Spa, Korean Tour Association of Saipan, Monte Vista restaurant, and Club V. (PR)
