More than 60 expected at Mt. Carmel Golf

The 7th Annual Mount Carmel School Golf Tournament will tee off tomorrow, May 9, and organizers are expecting more than 60 will participate in the competition to help support the only Catholic school on Saipan.

Coordinator Louise Concepcion said they always guarantee 60 slots for the annual event, but every year they always exceed that number.

The 7th Annual Mount Carmel School Golf Tournament will be played at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort west course with registration set at 6:30am and tee time an hour later at 7:30am.

Trophies and other gift prizes will be given to the Top 3 winners in the Championships, A Flight, B Flight, C Flight, Seniors Flight, and Ladies Flight.

An awards banquet will be held immediately following the tournament at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort grounds.

Although the tournament has no entry fee, participants are requested to donate $100. The donation will cover green and cart fees, as well as prizes and the awards banquet.
