Free training for deaf, hard of hearing

The deaf/hard of hearing community in the CNMI is invited to attend a free training called “Understanding Leads to Success.”

The training is scheduled for May 11, from 1pm to 4pm, and May 12, from 8am to 4pm, at the Northern Marianas College, Bldg. A-13.

Training topics include Deaf Culture, Differentiating Characteristics, Modes of Communication, and Accommodations.

Instructors Cathy McLeod and Mary Morrison, both from PEPNet- West will be on island to conduct the training.
