Manny “The Enforcer” Chong will meet Ton “Peskadot” Robert in the main event in the upcoming Rites of Passage 7: Fist of Fury scheduled for May 23 at the Saipan World Resort.

This event is jointly sponsored by Docomo Pacific and Miller Lite with fighters from Guam, Japan, Philippines, Korea, and the CNMI to enter anew the octagon cage.

Chong is the current champion in the Pacific Xtreme Challenge heavyweight division.

Robert is a 285-lb behemoth.

The semi main event will be between Spike 22 Guam’s Jess “The Spiderman” Taitano and Saipan’s “Taby” Jay Muna.

Taitano is ranked No. 7 in the world in the 125-lb division but Muna, who is known as a tough guy can potentially pullout an upset.

The superfight will be a Guam vs. Saipan war with Spike 22 Justin “The Shocker” Cruz taking on Mariana’s Elite powerhouse Derick “El Peligro” Rangamar.

An exciting international matchup will be between Japan’s Joji “Akuma” Matsunaga and Saipan’s Skep Palacios from Team Zogai.

Another Guam vs. Saipan encounter will be Troy “Destroyer” Munoz vs. Slade “The Rage” Adelbai.

Trench Tech president and promoter Justis “Cuki” Alvarez said there would be much more bouts including fighters from Korea and the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Trench Tech is looking for a female competitor at 130 lbs-135 lbs to take on Tara “The Tarantula” Namauleg for the ROP 7. Namauleg has a 2-0 record in MMA.

Her last fight ended in a quick win over Kristy “The Tasty” Halstead via verbal tapout in 23 seconds in the first round of their flyweight showdown during the Gorilla Warfare Battle Ready.

Tickets are now on sale for $25 at the Boarderline, Hannam Market, Mobil Kagman, The Rock Steady Shop, and Trench Tech Gym.
