Learn how to obtain capital and do business with the federal govt

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will host a workshop conducted by representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. General Services Administration, and U.S. Department of Agriculture on April 22, 2009, at the Pacific Islands Club Saipan.

The half-day workshop will focus on how to do business with the federal government and how to obtain capital through the SBA’s lending program.

Speakers will include Kenneth Lujan and Jack Corbett of the SBA, Brandy Untalan of the GSA, and Joseph Diego of the USDA Rural Development.

The workshop will be at the Charley’s Cabaret and will begin at 8am. After a break for lunch, the speakers will be available to meet with individuals for one-on-one discussions in the afternoon.

The meeting is $25 for Chamber of Commerce members and $35 for non-members, which includes lunch at PIC’s Magellan dining room. Sitting is limited and reservations are required. Call the Saipan Chamber of Commerce at 233-7150 to make reservations. [B][I](SCC)[/I][/B]
