Once again, Lenten season came and pilgrims of different ethnicities flocked to the highest peak of Mt. Tapochao. It was a season when Christians remembered the sacrifices of Jesus who saved us from our sins. The Bicol Association in the Northern Mariana Islands once again volunteered last Friday their time to serve devotees with free ice-cold water and food as part of the organization’s commitment to serve the pilgrims.

The general membership of Bianmi would like to thanks all donors for their generosity that made the organization’s religious community service possible: Coca Cola Micronesia Inc., WIRES, Primetek, MAFEA, Tripple “R” Auto Shop, Micronesia Wood Craft, Carnots, Cool Care, GPPC, Champstar Electronics, Sunny Wholesale, Philippine Consulate staff, Sky Castle Limo, J’s Restaurant, group donors and individuals. Despite the cold early morning temperature, the spirit of Bayanihan among us still exists. Our sacrifices was blessed with the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection as we commemorate his abiding presence in our minds.
