Gubernatorial candidate Juan Pan Guerrero and his running mate, Rep. Joe Camacho were saddened to learn that campaign signs of other candidates for governor and lieutenant governor have been damaged.

“We have also had a few of our road signs damaged and have had to replace them. This highlights the need for all candidates to ask their supporters to respect the democratic process and not engage in vandalism,” said Guerrero.

Early in the campaign season, members of the Committee to Elect Juan Pan and Joe Camacho attended a workshop conducted by the Office of Public Auditor concerning campaign ethics.

“When I ran for the House of Representatives, we invited the Public Auditor to make a presentation on ethics and compliance with election law,” said Camacho, candidate for lieutenant governor. “We did the same again this year with the Juan Pan and Joe Camacho campaign. We are running a clean and professional campaign.”

“We ask those people who are damaging our and others’ signs to please respect the law,” said Clyde Norita, chairman of the Committee to Elect Juan Pan and Joe Camacho. (PR)
