Fighters for Gorilla Warfare “Battle Ready” vowed to exact punishment against their rivals during a media presentation held yesterday near the Japanese Tank memorial along Beach Road.

Heavyweight Charlz “The Predator” Aiken looked confident in his upcoming bout against Mike, Davis in one of the undercards.

“I’m ready for him,” he said.

Aiken, who out-pointed Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial in the first Gorilla Warfare last August, holds a 7-2 win-loss record.

Davis, meanwhile, will be fighting for the first time on Saipan said he has been training hard for this fight.

“I’ve been working hard to be on top. I’m always going for the win,” said Davis, who has a 4-3 record.

All of his fights were in Guam including a stint in the Pacific Xtreme Championships.

Fitial, for his part, will be going up against Ed “Zeppelin” Carpenter from Chicago who holds a 4-0 record.

“I’m 100-percent ready now,” Carpenter said.

A total of 22 fighters will be featured in this event.

Promoter Jeff Boyer said this event is primarily to raise the level of skills for mixed martial artists on Saipan.

Boyer, along with promoters Mark Sablan and Pete Sablan, led the media presentation along with Guam promoter Alvin Aguilar and his wife.

Jojo Camacho of sponsor MARPAC was also present.

“We want to create some exposure for the local fighters. This event will showcase talents from abroad,” he said.

Joining the cast will be the Philippines’ Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang, who holds a 3-0 record under Team Lakai.

Folayang will meet Jerome Norita of Marianas Elite (2-1) in the 155-lb, semi-main event.

In the 185-lb. weight class, Lionel “Da Hellion” Borja (1-0) of Marianas Elite will face Shane “N Sane” Camacho (1-1) of Team Zogai.

Rick “The Slick” San Nicolas (0-9) will meet Robert “The Pitbull” Palacios (0-3).
