The students of Green Meadow School and Keynotes School of Music will be performing in April 4, 2009, in a musical fundraiser titled “Wind Beneath my Wings” for the benefit of Calving Borja, the 16-year-old son of Tina Borja. Calvin has been diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment in Hawaii, which could take up to three years.
The Green Meadow School faculty and staff, along with the GMS PTA, have come together in the effort to support Borja’s family in this time of need. “Borja has been a tremendous help to our school not only as an administrative clerk but also as a teacher aide. Her family with three kids, has been struggling with this battle and we hope that this fundraiser will help with their fight,” said Edward Arriola Jr., PTA president. [B][I](PR)
