Tinian car seat, seatbelt checkpoints

The Tinian Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section will be conducting car seat and seatbelt checkpoints for the next three days.
Today, March 25, the first set up will be held on Broadway Road, next to the Tinian Youth Center on the northbound lane. It will start at 7am, last approximately 75 minutes and end at 8:15am.
The second setup will be by Marpo Valley Road, near the Hofschneider warehouse on the eastbound lane. It will start at 4:30pm and end at 5:45pm.
Tomorrow, March 26, the first setup will be held across the Baseball field on the westbound lane. The checkpoint will start at 7am and end at 8:15am.
The second setup will be along Broadway Road by Star Plaza on the southbound lane, from 5pm to 6:15pm.
On Friday, March 27, the first setup will be by the former Tinian Center on the southbound lane. It will start at 7am, last about 75 minutes and end at 8:15am.
The second setup will be by the Baseball Field on the southbound lane, from 4pm to 5:15pm.
All checkpoints are subject to be terminated if it begins to rain. In addition, officers will be conducting highway criminal interdictions.
