Mexican buffet lunch now within your reach

If its affordable eat-all-you-can authentic Mexican food you want, then look no further than Tijuana Mexican Cuisine along Beach Road in Lower Garapan.
At only $8.95 per head, customers of Tijuana Mexican Cuisine can savor seven authentic south-of-the-border entrees from Monday to Friday, according to president and general manager Awie Usudan.
Usudan, who used to be the head waiter of one of Saipan’s premiere hotels, said depending on the day of the week Tijuana Mexican Cuisine lays out a lunch buffet lineup that includes all-time favorites like tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chimichangas, and tostados.
He said his restaurant’s lunch buffet also serves Tijuana Mexican Cuisine’s special courses like the sumptuous Tatomado Pork Special, the intriguing Tijuana Seafood Platter, and the refreshing Mahi-Mahi Veracruz-style Fish.
On the side are nachos and chips and what Mexican meal is complete without staples like Mexican rice and red-eye beans, which the restaurant alternates every other day.
The lunch buffet starts at 11am and ends at 2pm. It comes with bottomless iced tea.
Tijuana Mexican Cuisine took over the operation of Tijuana Mexican Grill and is located at the ground floor of Saipan Gold Beach Hotel.
Usudan said his company opened their new restaurant this January and began offering the lunch buffet earlier this month.
He said he is banking on the growing popularity of Mexican cuisine on the island, as local tastes seem to lean toward spicy food.
With diners becoming more health conscious these days, Usudan added that Mexican food—with its heavy reliance on fresh vegetables—is always a great option for people looking to lose weight.
Usudan said he is also unperturbed by the economic downturn the island is currently experiencing as he is confident that as long as you serve great food and treat customers the right way, your business will thrive.
Tijuana Mexican Cuisine can sit as much as 60 guests and also has a couple of tables outside for customers wanting to dine al fresco.
