Chamber to host tax workshop

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a tax workshop for businesses next Wednesday, March 11, 2008. Ed Aguilar of Deloitte & Touche Guam and Edmund Brobesong of Ernst & Young Guam will be making this presentation, which will cover:

* Selecting the right structure for your business;

* Highlights of business provisions and related tax benefits offered under the recently passed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009;

* Recent tax updates;

* Check-the-Box rules; and

* Bona fide resident test/source of income rules

* This workshop will begin at 9am and will be held in the conference room at the Chamber office The cost for workshop attendees is $10 per person for members and $20 per person for non-members. The registration cutoff for attending this workshop is 3pm today, March 6. [B][I](SCC)[/I][/B]
