This Sunday Beautify CNMI will do their monthly cleanup of the Garapan Tourist District. We’ll meet at the parking lot of American Memorial Park at 8am. We will provide gloves and bags. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B] Rota waters get green flag[/B]
The Division of Environment Quality has assigned a green flag to the waters of Rota after regular sampling showed no excessive concentration of fecal indicator bacteria that exceed the CNMI Marine Water Quality Standards.
The division took the samples from 12 locations on Rota this week as part of the regularly scheduled sampling.
Marine Water Quality Reports are also provided at www.deq.gov.mp/section.aspx?secID=4 and http://www.cnmicoralreef.net/wq/beachcloseweeklyresults.htm. Interested individuals and organizations can also receive email notifications of the weekly marine water quality reports. To do so, send an email to environment@deq.gov.mp.

This is to let all combat veterans, their dependents and all concerned know that Catherine Illarmo, the Department of Veterans Affairs team leader/LCSW from the Guam Vet Center will be on Saipan today to give individuals counseling to combat veterans and a stress management briefing to all interested.
