MIFICPA to conduct tax seminar on Feb. 21

The Marianas Institute of Filipino CPAs and Accountants will conduct a tax seminar on tax savings tips for 2008 and recent tax law updates next Saturday, Feb. 21.
The venue shall be at the Saipan Grand Hotel’s Seaside Hall. Registration starts at 8am and the seminar session will start promptly at 9am up to 12noon.
Edgar T. Aguilar, manager for Tax Services of Deloitte & Touche LLP, will be the resource person for the seminar.
Participants will have the chance to raise questions on tax matters to maximize money saving measures in filing the 2008 individual and corporate tax returns.
Registration fee per participant will be $12 that covers light breakfast and participant’s certificate. Seminar materials will be provided. Renewal of MIFICPA annual membership dues will be collected at $5.00 on the day of the event only. For new members, the same fee applies.
