FHB partners with Orbitz Travel

[B]Hagåtña, Guam[/B]—First Hawaiian Bank announced Friday a new partnership with Orbitz that enhances its Priority Rewards card program, providing greater value and easier CashPoint redemption for all its 100,000+ credit and debit card customers.

“As the largest local card issuer in Hawaii, First Hawaiian is pleased to offer our Priority Rewards card customers increased value and services. The partnership with Orbitz will guarantee the lowest travel costs, and the 1 percent cash back rewards option means our customers could pay only 99 cents for every dollar of card purchases—good news in difficult economic times,” said Curt Otaguro, First Hawaiian Bank senior vice president, Card Services Division.
Air travel reward redemption through Orbitz, both online and a dedicated call center;
Up to 1% cash back reward on purchases;
A feature for cardholders to consolidate Priority Rewards CashPoints for faster redemptions;
Extended live customer service redemption center hours and a new Priority Rewards Program website;
The ability to “gift” or transfer CashPoints to other card members.
Customers will be able to redeem CashPoints for travel anytime, anywhere on any airline with no black out dates using the Orbitz travel search engine to quickly locate the lowest published airfares. Businesses can consolidate CashPoints at the company level and consumers can now link all of their Priority Rewards credit and debit accounts together including family members, making it faster to accumulate CashPoints. CashPoints may also be transferred or gifted to another Priority Rewards card member. And cardholders also have the option of getting up to 1% cash back on purchases. The bank offers both a personal credit card and a business credit card with the customer’s photo on the reverse side to help prevent fraudulent use.
