Manglona and Bocago are ’09 Little King & Queen of Hearts

Ian Julius O. Manglona and Taliyah Sablan Bocago were named 2009 Little King and Queen of Hearts during a simple awarding ceremony last Thursday at the Glimpses Publications office at the Transpac Business Center in Gualo Rai.

Both kids pocketed $100 cash each, courtesy of Glimpses of Saipan and Beach Road Magazine.

Also, they each won one camera phone from IT&E and one Subway Bear and two coupons for Foremost Scoops.

Joining the presentation were Stella T. Fong (Transpacific International Inc. Group vice president), Ed Manglona (IT&E marketing coordinator), Nola Hix (IT&E marketing associate), Veronica Taivero (IT&E marketing associate), and Susan Marchetti (BRM account manager).

It was the second year that BRM held the contest.

The 13 contestants who joined this year also received certificates of appreciation during the awarding ceremony.

The list included Jewel Monique Combinido, Mitziko Yema, Princess Hana B. Debengek, Cheyanne Koloni Perry Sablan, Jessica Nicole T. Pineda, William Everett Mitchell, Jaren Allan B. Lifoifoi, Paul Kikoa Lister, Jaron Albert B. Lifoifoi, Ayana I. Custodio, Arisa I. Custodio, Alicia Villegas, and Jason Villegas.

Sponsors of the event included IT&E, Emergency Management Office, Brown Tree Snake Program of the Division of Fish and Wildlife, American Red Cross, MRCI, CGD Pawnshop, Budget, Lollipops, Saipan Advertising, IBSS Canon, Coca-Cola Beverage Company, Micronesia Inc., Foremost, Subway, and Foremost Scoops.
