Delta Management Saipan celebrates 10 years in NMI
Delta Management Corp.–Saipan and its owners, Jim Arenovski and Michael Borja, celebrated 10 years on Saipan by giving out presents to two organizations.
The operators of the Shell Susupe, Shell Gualo Rai and Shell San Roque and authorized distributors of IT&E prepaid products presented Karidat and NMI Crime Stoppers with checks worth $1,500 each to help their cause.
Committed to hiring a 100-percent local workforce right from the start, Arenovski and Borja heard their share of detractors. “We got a lot of the normal concerns from many in the business sector on Saipan about hiring locals and we just knew from our experiences in Guam that it takes good hiring and great training to make a superior product and we just put that to work and have been successful ever since….Just stop by one of our stations and you be the judge.”
Delta also recognized Shirley Mendiola Santos, who started as a cashier 10 years ago and is now the group’s Saipan Operations Manager. “Shirley’s dedication and commitment has made our Saipan operation a ‘well oiled machine.’ The time and training invested in Shirley has paid off in so many ways, we are grateful to have her as a leader in our organization.”
When presenting the checks, Arenovski and Borja thanked Karidat and NMI Crime Stoppers for the important roles they play in the CNMI and asked for the community to do their best to support these two organizations.
Borja, recently nominated for Executive of the Year in Guam and former Guam Crime Stoppers chairman, expressed that it is “an honor to give back to a community that has supported us this past decade.”
Looking forward, Arenovski indicated that his company is dedicated to the CNMI and looks forward to another 10 years doing business here. “There has not been any doubt that this is my family’s home and I will work to ensure it remain our home well into the future by making sure our businesses remain viable and profitable in these changing times.”
Borja added, “Delta has not only donated money back to this community but as many of you know, Jim has a long history of giving back to the CNMI with his time, serving his second term as Chamber of Commerce president and going on eight years with the NMI Crime Stoppers Program.”
Arenovski said, “I could not do the work I do in the community without the dedicated staff we have here on Saipan. Thanks to them, I am able to serve the community.”
