DPS auto insurance checkpoint tomorrow

The Department of Public Safety Traffic Section will be conducting mandatory liability auto insurance (Public Law 11-55) checkpoints tomorrow, Jan. 24.

The first checkpoint will be on Beach Road Susupe by Minatchom Atdao. This operation will commence at 9am and will terminate at 10:15am.

The second checkpoint will be on Beach Road Garapan by Bank Pacific. This operation will commence at 4pm and will terminate at 5:15pm.

Each checkpoint conducted will last at least 75 minutes at each location. This activity is part of DPS’ efforts to ensure that all vehicles on the highway have the mandatory liability auto insurance.

In addition, traffic officers will be conducting highway criminal interdictions, saturation patrols, aggressive driver interdictions, and laser activities.
