Search on for CNMI’s longest married couple

The CNMI Chapter of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter Community is joining other Marriage Encounter groups around the United States in searching for the longest married couple in the CNMI.

The Couple Married Longest search is being conducted in preparation for the celebration of World Marriage Day on Feb. 7 from 4pm to 6pm at the American Memorial Park Amphitheater.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter established World Marriage Day to honor the husband and wife as head of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice, and joy in daily, married life.

The celebration is free and open to all married couples.

If you have been married for over 50 years, or if you know of friends or relatives who have been, and both spouses are still living, please e-mail their names, phone numbers, and wedding date to Kanae Quinn at cnmiwmd@yahoo.com.

The deadline for all entries is Jan. 31. The winning couple will be notified and honored at the celebration. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
